Systems, Leadership, Integration & Management (SLIM)
SLIM (Systems, Leadership, Integration, Management) aims to expose P&S students to the broader issues—such as access, quality, safety, cost and payments—that affect the delivery of effective, appropriate, and high-value healthcare globally. Numerous non-clinical healthcare related opportunities (both summer and year-long commitments) in fields such as technology, administration, quality improvement, and finance are compiled in the Google Doc below.
Students interested in quality improvement research are encouraged to explore the SLIM database and reach out to listed PIs. Highly enthusiastic medical students may have the opportunity to attend House Quality Council meetings.
Please contact Daniel Friedman (dmf2159) or Sarah Soo-Hoo (ss5209) if you have any questions or concerns.
